Subject	tstat should open and close gradually. I'd replace.

Message	Or test it in a pot of hot water to make sure. My new stock tested to be fully open at about 190 degrees, your NISMO is probably fully open at about 180. Installed, my stock tstat tries to keep the car at 178-180 and does really well unless it is really hot outside and the rest of the cooling system is overloaded.
